Accept my sympathy’ President Buhari tells APC’s National chairman, John Odigie-Oyegun over Atiku Abubakar’s resignation

President Buhari has sympathised with the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), over the recent resignation of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar from the ruling party. Recall that last week Friday, November 24th, Atiku announced his resignation from the party, describing it as a dying party. He accused the leadership of anti-democratic practices. Read here.

While speaking at the inauguration of the National minimum wage committee earlier today, President Buhari turned to Oyegun and said, “Accept my sympathy for losing a senior member of your party.”

Although he did not mention any name, it was glaring that he was referring to Atiku Abubakar’s resignation.
