Another Arsenal defender, Jordi Osei-Tutu, has returned to Emirates following the termination of his loan with Nottingham Forest.

Osei-Tutu made four appearances for Nottingham Forest during the first half of the current season.

The 23-year-old had spent the 2020/21 campaign on loan also in the Championship with Cardiff City.

He also gained loan experience with German club VfL Bochum, where he spent the 2019/20 season.

During his time in Germany, Jordi made 21 appearances playing mostly at right-back but also showed his versatility by impressing as a winger towards the end of the 2 Bundesliga season.

Jordi joined Arsenal back in the summer of 2015 as a scholar from Reading.

Arsenal disclosed this in a statement via their website on Wednesday.

Recall that Arsenal defender, Harry Clarke, had returned to the club from his loan with Ross County in the Scottish Premiership earlier this week.

Meanwhile, in a related development, Manchester United on Thursday confirmed that their defender Ethan Laird has joined Bournemouth on loan for the remainder of the season.

Laird had ended his loan at Swansea City to join Bournemouth in a similar deal, subject to registration.

The Academy graduate has regularly impressed this season for the Welsh side, featuring 21 times, claiming four assists.

The England Under-19 international also helped the club to secure eight clean sheets.

He has been with United since the age of 10. He featured twice for Man United’s first-team, having made his debut in 2019.
