GENERAL Overseer, Christ MercyLand Deliverance Ministry, Effurun, Delta State, Prophet Jeremiah Funfeyin has admonished youths in the community to be closer to God and be good ambassadors of Christ at all times.

According to him, God is the only way to salvation, peace and unity in life, adding that there is no way one can be successful without Jesus Christ.

The cleric stated this when executive members of Uvwie youths paid him a courtesy visit at the church premises, stressing that since the arrival of his church, the social vices hindering progress of the area have reduced drastically.

Prophet Funfeyin, who commended the youths for ensuring endurable peace, urged them to join him in fervent prayers and supplication to God as a panacea to peace, growth and development.

“Since my arrival here, things have changed drastically for good. I can see that majority of youths have turned to God, hence I will continue to solicit your support to join me in making Uvwie one of the most peaceful communities in the state.”

“Today,  I am elated that I am before my brothers and sisters, however, you should not forget that I am also part of you because all of us come from the same lineage. We should be closer as never before in order to continue to make Uvwie, the land of peace and honey,” he stressed.

According to him, “God started with me in Effurun and I know that He will not leave me alone, hence I am appealing to all of you to always be good ambassadors of Jesus Christ, our lord and personal saviour.”

The prophet maintained that the on-going economic recession will soon be over,  adding that what Nigerians need now is to be fervent in prayers to God to redeem this great nation from the hands of both internal and external aggressors.
