Chicago rapper Super Bwe has made been making some noise this year, most notably with his “Fool Wit It Freestyle,” a collaboration with his city’s emcee of the moment Chance The Rapper. While big co-signs can go a long way, it doesn’t mean much if there isn’t talent to back it up, and on “Up Right Now,” Bwe reminds us once again that he’s deserving of his buzz. The track features a horn arrangement that would make Chance proud, but vocally, Bwe is loose and melodic, in some ways resembling the auto-tuned croons of drill rappers like Lil Durk.
