As the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic rages, the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Ekiti State, Hon, Biodun Omoleye, has reiterated people’s need to take personal responsibility for staying safe.

He has asked residents to keep maintaining social distance, staying out of large gatherings, and observing other safety protocols to curtail the virus’s spread.

Omoleye stressed that it would take collective and personal responsibilities from all and sundry for the globe to come out of the virus’s debilitating effect, which has crippled the global economy and put many countries in recession.

Fayemi’s Chief of Staff spoke while hosting party members in the Local Government Secretariat Complex of Ijero Ekiti.

The meeting, which was very brief and done in line with COVID-19 protocols, had representatives from each of the local government’s wards in attendance.
