The Remo Stars duo of Qudus Akanni and Eddidiong Ezekiel have been called up to the Olympics Eagles camp ahead of this month’s 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Guinea.
The Sky Blue Stars disclosed this on their verified Facebook page on Friday.
“Olympic Eagles call-up Qudus Akanni and Edidiong Ezekiel are heading to the Olympic Eagles camp for this month’s Africa U23 Cup of Nations qualifier against Guinea,” the club wrote.

Akanni and Ezekiel are expected to team up with other invited players in Abuja on Friday.
The team will camp in Ibadan for the qualifiers.
The first leg will take place at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan on March 22.
The reverse fixture will be played in Morocco five days later.

The overall winners will qualify for the U-23 AFCON to be staged in Morocco later in the year.
