Fatai Osho, the former Chief Coach of Rivers United, has announced his resignation from the Nigerian Premier League champions. Osho had previously left the post two months ago but was convinced to return by the club’s management. However, he has now decided to step down for good.

The announcement was made by Osho himself on social media on Tuesday morning. In a tweet, he thanked the entire management, staff and coaching crew of Rivers United for his time at the club. He described his experience as “worthwhile and memorable” and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work with such a great team.

Osho was appointed as the Chief Coach of Rivers United two years ago. Prior to that, he had been in charge of Remo Stars and Enyimba. During his time at Rivers United, he helped the team to achieve some impressive results, including reaching the final of the Nigerian Federation Cup in 2019.

The news of Osho’s resignation has come as a surprise to many fans of the club. However, it is not yet clear what his next move will be. Some reports suggest that he may be considering a move to another Nigerian club, while others speculate that he could be heading overseas to coach in a different league.

Whatever his plans may be, Osho’s departure will undoubtedly be felt by Rivers United. He was a popular figure at the club and had built up a strong rapport with both the players and the fans. His departure will leave a void that will be difficult to fill.
