Nigeria’s Super Falcons have settled down in Brisbane, Australia as they begin preparations for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The team is camped at the Mercure Hotels, Gold Coast.

Randy Waldrum’s side is in the city for a 15-day training programme ahead of the World Cup.

The Super Falcons will leave for Melbourne on the eve of their opening game against Olympic champions, Canada on July 21.

Nigeria will also face co-hosts Australia and the Republic of Ireland in Group B.

The games against Australia and the Republic of Ireland are slated for Brisbane.

The West Africans have qualified for all editions of the Women’s World Cup since its inception in 1991.
