In a recent interview on Angela Yee’s podcast, ‘Way Up,’ the talented singer Simisola Kosoko, better known as Simi, opened up about her strong musical bond with fellow artist Falz. The duo, who have previously worked together on an EP called ‘Chemistry,’ have always had a special connection that fans often misinterpreted as a romantic relationship.
Simi revealed that despite the rumors, she and Falz have always shared a great chemistry when it comes to making music. She even teased that they have a new single set to be released later this month, with Falz as the featured artist.
“It’s always been interesting working with Falz. Before I got married, we collaborated on an EP that really resonated with our fans. People thought we were dating because of the chemistry we shared on and off the stage,” Simi shared during the podcast.

The duo’s previous EP, ‘Chemistry,’ was a massive hit among fans, who couldn’t get enough of their unique sound and undeniable connection. Now, Simi and Falz are gearing up to release another project that promises to bring a fresh and fun vibe to the music scene.
“We decided to team up again for the culture. The new song we’re working on is a bit quirky and light-hearted. I’m thrilled about it and can’t wait for everyone to hear it,” Simi added.
For those who might have forgotten, Simi and Falz first sparked dating rumors back in 2016 when they dropped their joint EP ‘Chemistry.’ However, the speculations came to an end when Simi tied the knot with singer Adekunle Gold in a private ceremony in Lagos on January 9, 2019. The couple welcomed their first child, Adejare, in 2020, further solidifying their love story.
