The Federal Government has actually revealed the start of Commercial Operations on the Lagos-Ibadan railway.

The Special Assistant to President Buhari on Digital and New Media, Tolu Ogunlesi, made the statement on Monday’s main Twitter account.

Ogunlesi started the railway has actually started operation “with just one journey return” in the meantime.

According to him, the train’s official commissioning will be kept in the first quarter of 2020.

“For now, according to the NRC, just one return journey daily, leaving Ibadan at 8:00 am for Lagos and leaving Lagos for Ibadan at 4:00 pm.

“However, speed and capability will increase with time since there’s still some building and construction work continuous,” he stated.
