Nigeria news : Investigate shooting at NHRC office – Shehu Sani tells IGP Mohammed, others, Shehu Sani, former Kaduna lawmaker has reacted to the shooting at National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) premises on Monday.

wowplus reported that shots were fired at NHRC premises on Monday .

The Executive Secretary of the NHRC, Tony Ojukwu, called on the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, the Attorney-General and the Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami to intervene and apprehend those behind the shooting.

Reacting, Sani condemned the attack and called for an investigation into the incident.

Sani on his Twitter page wrote: “The reported shooting at the premises of NHRC Abuja stands unreservedly condemned.

“The incidence should be fully investigated by the federal government.”
