Beverly Hills is known for its luxurious homes, designer boutiques, and Hollywood glamour. It’s where the rich and famous come to live and play, and where dreams are made. And it just so happens that two of the most popular women in the entertainment industry call this upscale neighborhood home: Lizzo and Lisa Vanderpump.
It’s hard to imagine two people who are more different than Lizzo and Vanderpump. One is a Grammy-winning musician known for her catchy tunes and body-positive message, while the other is a reality TV star turned restaurateur with a love of pink and diamonds. But as they say, opposites attract, and these two women seem to have formed an unlikely bond.
In February 2023, Vanderpump opened up about her friendship with Lizzo in an interview with E! News co-hosts Adrienne Bailon-Houghton and Justin Sylvester. “I think it’s not who you are or where you come from or anything. It’s about just connections. Lizzo is such a darling girl,” Vanderpump said. “She’s very bold on stage, but she’s a sweetheart. And yeah, we drink rosé together. She’s very kind and she calls me ‘The Queen’ when really, right now, ultimately, she’s ‘The Queen.'”

The fact that Lizzo and Vanderpump live in the same neighborhood might come as a surprise to some fans. After all, Lizzo is a relatively new addition to the Beverly Hills scene. In October of last year, The Dirt reported that the “Truth Hurts” singer had purchased a $15 million home in the area. The mansion, which features a modest three bedrooms and four bathrooms, was once owned by “Falling” singer Harry Styles.
“This past tour… I was blessed to, you know, stay in really nice places, but I was like, ‘I miss my house. Like, I can’t wait to come back to my own home and to my bed.’ And I was like, ‘This is the first time I’ve ever said this,'” Lizzo told CBS News in December. It’s clear that the singer has fallen in love with her new home, and who can blame her? With stunning views of the city and plenty of space to entertain, it’s the perfect place for a rising star like Lizzo.
Meanwhile, Vanderpump and her husband, Ken Todd, have been living in Beverly Hills for decades. The couple owns a number of restaurants in the area, including the famous SUR and Pump. They also star in their own reality show, “Vanderpump Rules,” which follows the lives of the staff at SUR.

Vanderpump’s home, which she has named Villa Rosa, is a sprawling estate that is fit for a queen. “Our home is one of my favorite places in the world,” Vanderpump wrote on the “Very Vanderpump” blog, sharing pictures of her gorgeous abode. “Every morning I wake up and look over the incredibly lush and isolated valley below my windows and I can’t help feeling happy, humbled, and grateful,” she added.
Despite their differences, Lizzo and Vanderpump seem to have found common ground in their love of Beverly Hills and all that it has to offer. And who knows? Maybe we’ll see them collaborating on a song or a restaurant in the future. After all, anything is possible in this town.
