Grand Showroom NYC is seeking part time sales interns to join our wholesale team. The Grand Showroom is a multi-line showroom in the heart of Soho, New York City, representing a diverse range of emerging and established European & American fashion designers. We are looking for fashion savvy sales interns to join our New York office immediately.
Internship will include assisting our account executives in all sales activity and in tradeshows/markets. Tasks will include preparing collections, work alongside showroom designers, merchandise, market and assist in developing a successful sales campaign. Assist with buyers during sales appointments; follow up communication, order entry and analysis, coordinate samples and prospect for new clients.
Qualified applicants should be eager to gain valuable experience in the heart of the fashion world, highly motivated, self-starter, multi-tasking and detail-oriented with a strong interest and knowledge in the fashion industry.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient computer skills
- Social media knowledge
- Be ready to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be comfortable on the phone.
- Must be presentable, clean, organized and hard-working
- 100% reliable and extremely eager to learn.
- Minimum of 3 days a week, preferably full days
