Court adjourns Dino Melaye†case indefinitely on Well being grounds

Justice Olasumbo Goodluck of FCT High Court, Maitama, has adjourned indefinitely the trial of Senator Dino Melaye docked for allegedly giving false information. The court adjourned the trial sine die (indefinitely) following the confirmation by the National Hospital, Abuja that Melaye was on admission at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.

The embattled senator was dragged to court on a two-count charge, bordering on giving false information, offences he denied committing. He was arraigned on March 1st by the Office of the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) on a two-count charge for allegedly giving false information to the police to incriminate the Chief of Staff to Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, Edward Onoja David, as the mastermind of the stated assassination try on him.
