Wowza! Neil Lane can take a break because Zach Shallcross just pulled off an epic proposal to Kaity Biggar on The Bachelor finale, airing March 27. Without hesitation, Zach professed his love for Kaity Lane, letting her know he was head-over-heels in love! He promised her a lifetime of waking up to her beautiful face every day, walking hand in hand through their journey called life, and only wanting her by his side forever. Talk about swoon-worthy! Kaity caught Zach’s eye from the get-go with her infectious kindness and compassion toward everyone. Her shining personality lights up any room she walks into. And now, these two lovebirds are ready to take on life together as husband and wife. Congrats Zach and Kaity Lane!

Yo, check it out – our boy Zach had to battle COVID-19 during the season, but luckily he had a nurse on hand to give him major support. She was there for him when he was stuck in his room for days on end, bringing some much-needed human connection through his door. Even though it could have been awkward, it was actually really special and helped him get through that rough week.
And after saying goodbye to Gabi Elnicki, Zach proposed to Kaity! Things got a little wild at the rose ceremony when Kaity spilled the beans that Zach had hooked up with Gabi in the fantasy suite (after saying he wouldn’t be intimate with anyone on the show). Yikes, talk about messy!

Zach’s one-of-a-kind though – he’s the first Bachelor since Peter Weber to actually propose on the show. Matt James decided not to pop the question to Rachael Kirkconnell, and Clayton Echard left the show single. (Matt and Rachael are still together, but Peter and Hannah Ann broke up during the show’s airing. Clayton dated Susie Evans for a while but they split in September 2022.)
