The NYSC Coordinator in Kano State, Aisha Tata, says two new corps members posted to the state have tested positive for COVID-19.

Tata disclosed this while briefing newsmen after the swearing-in of the 2020 Batch ‘B’ Stream A corps members today, Monday, November 16.

According to her, 826 corps members who were posted to the state have undergone screening on COVID-19, and that two of those tested came back positive and have been transferred to an isolation center.

She told newscasters that all protocols to prevent the spread of the novel Coronavirus had been put in place in the camp.

“As you have seen, we have provided all the necessary prevention facilities and ensured that all the corps members used them. We have also ensured comprehensive fumigation to ensure that the camp remains a clean environment for the corps members’’ she said
