Temperatures are rising, but celebrity hemlines are not. With a Balmain store opening in Los Angeles and a string of summer fêtes and press tours, stars have stepped out in their finest — and longest — frocks (and a few pants). They’ve also disproved the reigning “less is more” sentiment with a superfluous tulle gown — Rihanna, puffier sleeves — Tracey Ellis Ross and fringe fit for a diva — Rita Ora. And the Céline Dionnaissance is full swing with the Canadian supernova jetting off in Gucci florals.
Some of these best dressed ladies gave their billowy maxis a touch of summer loving with the use of pastel pink and citrous color blocking. While others (and Harry) stayed sleek and cool in black and white. All in all, these celebrities — and sartorial starlets — are giving us some major weekend-wear inspiration.
