Are you loving that boho vibe but live far from a traditional “boho setting”? If you don’t live by an ocean, or a national park, or if your local climate is less than ideal for an outdoor wedding, guess what? You can totally make it happen indoors! That’s right: never give up on your dreams, friends. This styled shoot was created with you in mind, you beautiful bohemian soul, you! Photographer, Nicole Ashley, paired up with designer + florist, Janine at Fabloomosity, along with a super talented team from (the often chilly) Alberta, Canada to bring this concept to life:
We photographed this dreamy shoot in a rustic + really charming downtown loft that is virtually impossible to get into—we pulled a lot of strings to make the location happen! Our goal was to show brides who want an earthy, bohemian feel that it is possible to achieve the look in an indoor setting.
Nicole Ashley Photography captured that laid back, artsy vision beautifully:
Crimson Letters hand-lettered a beautiful gilded invitation!
What a babe! The bride wore an off-the-shoulder lace gown (heart eyes) from Daughters of Simone.
This protea bouquet had a very special added touch by Fabloomosity…the stems were dip dyed in gold metallic paint!
To create that Moroccan-inspired indoor loft, the team turned to Neat Rentals who brought in authentic rugs from Morocco + India.
The groom’s style was casual with some super-fun details! He wore a shirt and pants from Canadian retailer, Simons.
That gold fern! So cool!! (Also, they are reeeally cute.)
Hello, dream scenario!!
We need to talk about her hair and makeup. This look was created by Stefanie and Janna at Behind the Blush and it is so good, right?! The idea was inspired by the 1970s, with long, blunt bangs and a half-up ‘do that we’re diggin’. For the makeup, Janna gave the bride a dewy look, working with pinks and metallics.
The bride + groom’s jewelry are total stand outs! Here’s the story:
All of the jewelry featured was handmade + custom designed by Hunt Amor specifically for this shoot. For the bride, Amor chose a champagne tear drop diamond on a 14K rose gold setting with a half moon shaped band to match. For the groom, she designed a custom 14K yellow gold with a soft sandblast finished. The groom also wore custom brass cufflinks and she finished off the brides look with a set of blunt tassel earrings, inspired by the Moroccan theme.
Hair goals. Dress goals. Home goals. All of it!!
So many creative details from a beautiful day! Thanks to the team for sharing!
