But it’s sometimes more fun to discover the less-often-in-the-fashion-limelight personalities who make a big statement even without a big name. That was certainly the case this week, as on-the-rise actors like Kiersey Clemons and Serinda Swan stole the show in Emanuel Ungaro and Proenza Schouler looks, respectively. That’s not to say that slightly more established names weren’t serving some interesting outfits, of course. Aubrey Plaza and Elizabeth Olsen continued their current press tour for the film they star in together, “Ingrid Goes West,” wearing fun looks from Prabal Gurung and Rosie Assoulin, while Naomi Watts and Kate Beckinsale kept things simple in monochrome dresses from Fendi and Reem Acra. All in all, there was plenty of proof that being well-dressed isn’t necessarily about being the most famous — it’s about knowing what works for you, and then #werking it.
