Nigeria election: Buhari declares Friday public holiday

Ahead of the 2019 presidential election, President Muhammadu Buhari has declared Friday, Public holiday.

This was disclosed by Buhari’s Special Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmed on Twitter.

According to him, Friday was declared work free day to enable Nigerians prepare for the rescheduled presidential and National Assembly election.

The terse statement reads, “GOOD IDEA: The Federal Government has declared Friday as Workfree Day to enable Nigerians prepare for the rescheduled Presidential and National Assembly Elections on Saturday.”
