Leave It to Hollywood Youths to Make the Red Carpet Fun

Here are some fun things about being a Youth in Hollywood: You’re young! The chances are good that you are very attractive! You have a decent amount of disposable income! You get to wear fancy clothes! You get to spend time with other young, hot people while wearing fancy clothes! For examples of these elements all coming into play at once, one need look no further than Variety‘s Power of Young Hollywood party, which took place Tuesday night in (where else?) Hollywood.

A whole host of Hollywood’s best and brightest young things like Ashton Sanders and Zendaya made appearances at the event while bringing their fashion A-game (the former chose a cow-skin Calvin Klein jacket while the latter wore a glittery Vivetta look). Other Cool Young People like Machine Gun Kelly and musical duo Chloe x Halle may have less of a clear connection to Hollywood, but their outfits — from MGK’s all-white, turtleneck-in-the-summer look to Chloe x Halle’s coordinating-but-not-matching dresses — were no less spicy. Hey, you don’t have to be young, rich or famous to dress interestingly, but it sure doesn’t hurt.
