Deena Cortese is going to be a mom!
On Monday, July 2, 2018, the Jersey Shore star took to Instagram to announce that she’s expecting her first child, a baby boy, with husband Chris Buckner.
“Chris and I Decided to wait until we were ready to spill the beans!” she wrote to her fans, captioning a sweet snapshot of the soon-to-be-parents smiling at each other while standing near a sign that read, “We’re so excited to say a little firecracker is on the way! Baby Buckner. December 2018.” Cortese continued, “Now that we are safely into our second trimester.. us and our little monkey are ready to tell the world Our little family is growing! We have a sweet little boy on the way!”
The 31-year-old reality TV star went on, “We Are truly blessed and our hearts are filled with so much joy and happiness. December can’t come soon enough! Daddy and Mommy can’t wait to meet you Christopher John. You are going to be the most spoiled little boy ever!!!!”
Cortese, who recently appeared on Jersey Shore Family Vacation, and Buckner tied the knot in New Egypt, New Jersey last October. In April 2018, the MTV star hinted to Us Weekly that a baby might soon be on the way. “We plan on starting to try. We’re trying! I’m very excited,” she said. “He wants to have three. I would be fine with two, but the more the merrier, right?”
Cortese and Buckner aren’t the only celeb pairing to announce exciting baby news this summer. As Nicki Swift previously reported, former Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria gave birth to her first child with husband José Bastón on June 19. Meanwhile, Chip and Joanna Gaines of Fixer Upper welcomed their fifth child together days later.
