Award-winning singer, Simisola Kosoko, popularly known as Simi, has finally broken her silence on the comments made by fellow singer Brymo and music producer turned blogger, Samklef, regarding her.

Last year, Brymo made headlines after revealing that he had demanded sex from Simi before agreeing to collaborate with her. Simi, who was unmarried at the time, rejected his advances, and as a result, he refused to work with her.

Similarly, Samklef recently confessed that he had feelings for Simi during their early days in the music industry but did not pursue her because he wanted to keep their relationship strictly professional.

In a recent interview with Angela Yee, Simi expressed her disbelief at the comments made by Brymo and Samklef, stating that she does not take them seriously.

The talented mother of one dismissed their remarks as mere comedy and expressed her confusion at their actions.

“I don’t know what these people [Brymo and Samklef] are going on about. The funny thing is that these are two different people and I don’t know why they keep talking about me like that. When you even look at what they’re saying, you can’t even pick out anything. I’m still confused,” Simi said.

She went on to say, “I just feel like it doesn’t matter to me. It doesn’t change anything. My husband is speaking out for me, is he fighting for his woman as he would. I don’t feel anything about this. It doesn’t impact me. I don’t have anything to hide. If you’re going to post that you asked me out and so what? Or that I had an ex [laughs]. The whole thing to me, is more comedy than anything else.”

Simi’s response to the controversial statements from Brymo and Samklef has generated mixed reactions from fans and the music industry as a whole. Some have commended her for handling the situation with grace and maturity, while others have criticized her for not taking the matter more seriously.

It is clear that Simi is unbothered by the comments and is focused on her career, family, and personal life. Her ability to rise above the drama and maintain her composure speaks volumes about her character and strength as a woman in the entertainment industry.
