Today’s inspired shoot brings a whole new meaning to golden hour! All the bohemian details, from the couple’s style to Rachel Lynn Photography‘s vintage gold undertones, add up to one romantically nostalgic day. And let us just say: these are a few of our favorite things! Rachel gathered a team of creative artists to bring the shoot to life and gave us a look behind the inspiration:
This shoot was a culmination of my bride model, Kimi Kent, Courtney of Rustic Chic Events, and my collective creative vision. We wanted to plan a fun, funky 70s styled wedding shoot and everything came together so well! Kimi is a musician and gypsy soul to the core, so we knew this concept would be right up her alley. What began as a Fleetwood Mac-centered concept branched out to incorporate more boho themes. We kept the color palette earthy and romantic, using tones of pomegranate, nude, blush, and gold.
Sound dreamy? It IS! Let’s have a look at the day, captured by Rachel Lynn Photography:
The invitation suite by Hey Bernadette featured a hand-lettered design with an actual record and sleeve!
And these rings? The raw stones are the craftsmanship of The Fox and Stone. We’re loving the unconventional rings lately; catch our roundup here!
Such romantic designs by Gypsy Blooms! The florals were seamlessly woven through the peacock chair and table setup by Rustic Chic Events.
How creative is this pallet picnic table?! Love the cozy vibes of all the floor pillows, too!
This, folks, is gold-leafed red velvet half-naked cake covered in pomegranates and rustic blooms by Dolce Designs! Jaw. Drop.
For the groom, the team found an amazing crushed velvet blazer to contribute to the overall funky theme. The bride’s look was created by by The Fairest One, and the boho headpiece is by Chromia and Crystal.
As for the dress, they aimed to put a modern spin on the 70s lace gown. This is a blush Free People frock paired with velvet + glitter Steve Madden wedges.
Safe to say we LOVE this look. Click through to shop some of our favorite pieces inspired by this shoot!
