The popular HGTV show “Renovation Island” showcased the incredible journey of Bryan and Sarah Baeumler as they transformed a rundown resort in the Bahamas into the stunning Caerula Mar Club. However, after completing the ambitious project, the couple made a surprising decision to downsize their living situation and embrace a more modest lifestyle.

Following the completion of their project on “Renovation Island,” Bryan and Sarah made the bold choice to relocate their family to Wellington, Florida. Bryan cited the proximity to the island as one of the reasons for their move, stating, “We’re only an hour back and forth to the island.” Additionally, the couple found their new home at a fraction of the cost compared to properties in Canada. Bryan revealed, “We bought this house for less than half of a tear-down in Canada.”

While their new house was undergoing renovations, the Baeumlers found themselves without a place to stay after their rental lease ended. Instead of opting for a luxury hotel, the couple decided to embrace a simpler lifestyle by living in their RV. Bryan shared their unconventional living situation on “Island of Bryan,” stating, “The short-term solution for us is our little house on wheels.” The family even enjoyed a movie night with homemade popcorn in the cozy confines of their RV, demonstrating their appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.

In a surprising move, Bryan also revealed that the family had purchased an airplane, which he claimed was a practical and economical choice. He explained, “I bought an airplane for about half the price of buying a truck. And we can fly there and back for 120 bucks in fuel and 50 bucks in maintenance reserves.” Bryan emphasized the cost-saving benefits of owning an airplane, highlighting the financial advantages over traditional travel methods.

As the Baeumlers continue to navigate their new living situation and embark on future endeavors, their dedication to simplicity and practicality serves as a refreshing reminder of the importance of embracing life’s simple joys.
