Rebecca Ferguson at 43 has a screen calendar that stretches from the enclosed world of Silo to the criminal history of Peaky Blinders and the next chapter of Dune. Her birthday on October 19 offers a timely point to take stock of those different roles. Some of the work is already available, while Dune: Part Three remains ahead, making the distinction between a completed season and an announced release especially useful.

The Golden Globes records Ferguson’s birth in Stockholm on October 19, 1983. Its filmography includes Mission: Impossible, The Greatest Showman, Doctor Sleep and Dune, a selection that makes clear how often she has moved between genres. The current picture is broader than one franchise: Apple identifies her as both star and executive producer of Silo, while Netflix includes her among the principal performers in its Peaky Blinders film.

The long development of the Dune screen story appears in our 2022 archive report on the sequel’s script. That earlier moment belongs to the buildup to a previous instalment. By this birthday, the official movie site has moved on to Dune: Part Three, placing Ferguson in its announced cast and identifying a December 2026 theatrical release.

Silo adds a continuing role on both sides of production

Apple’s Apple announcement set Silo’s third season across ten episodes, beginning July 3 and continuing weekly through September 4, 2026. Those dates are now in the past. The series is based on Hugh Howey’s books and follows a society living underground, with Ferguson playing Juliette Nichols. Its questions about the world outside provide a different framework from a self-contained feature film.

The same production announcement names Graham Yost as creator and showrunner and lists Ferguson among the executive producers. It also confirms a fourth and final season. An executive-producer credit is a documented additional role, but it does not identify every individual production decision. What can be said clearly is that her association with the programme extends beyond the character credit presented to viewers.

A long-running series and a feature film give an actor different spans of storytelling. Viewers can spend successive episodes returning to a character’s surroundings, while a film must establish its relationships within a shorter running time. That contrast provides a useful way to compare the projects on Ferguson’s current list. It is a question of format and structure, rather than a claim that one kind of performance is automatically more demanding.

Peaky Blinders brings her into an established ensemble with Cillian Murphy. Our archive report on Murphy and his co-stars reflects the series’ earlier chapter. The Immortal Man is a separate 2026 feature, written by Steven Knight and directed by Tom Harper. Its return to the Shelby story is therefore a continuation in a different format, not an additional season of the original programme.

Peaky Blinders and Dune occupy different points on the calendar

Netflix’s cast guide identifies Ferguson’s character in The Immortal Man as Kaulo and describes her connection to Tommy Shelby’s past. The film was released on the service in March 2026, so it belongs among the year’s completed releases. There is no need to reveal its ending to place it in this career update: the confirmed role and production credits already show another distinct fictional world in which she has worked.

Dune: Part Three is still a future release as of October 19. Its official site lists December 18, 2026 for North America and an international rollout beginning December 16. Denis Villeneuve directs, with Ferguson included alongside Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya and the wider announced ensemble. Country-specific screenings can differ, so the international start date should not be read as a guarantee for every local cinema.

The film’s official synopsis places its story nearly two decades after Paul Atreides took control of the Imperium. That is the studio’s announced premise, rather than a review of the finished movie. For audiences tracking Ferguson’s work, the immediate point is her continuing place in a large science-fiction production. Its eventual performance and reception will need to be assessed after audiences can see it.

An earlier ensemble appears in our report revisiting The Greatest Showman’s performers. Ferguson’s filmography includes that musical alongside more recent thrillers. Looking across the titles shows how a familiar actor can sit within very different tones, with songs, espionage, political tension and speculative worlds asking audiences to approach each story on its own terms.

A recent thriller broadens the view

A House of Dynamite adds another recent context. Netflix’s cast guide identifies Ferguson as Captain Olivia Walker, a senior officer in the White House Situation Room, in Kathryn Bigelow’s thriller. In the service’s interview, Ferguson discusses the appeal of portraying an ordinary person with extraordinary professional responsibility. That is her account of the role, rather than a claim that the fictional scenario describes a real incident.

The photographs accompanying this update come from individually dated public appearances, including the 2025 New York Film Festival. They show Ferguson promoting or attending events connected to her career, rather than celebrating her 2026 birthday. An image from a premiere can help place a project in the timeline, provided it is not presented as a still from the story or a photograph from an unrelated production.

At 43, Ferguson’s current record offers several starting points: a completed Silo season, a Peaky Blinders feature and an announced Dune instalment still to come. The variety is the story. Following the dates and the credited roles gives a clearer view of that range than treating every title as interchangeable evidence of success, and it leaves each project room to make its own impression on viewers.
