Nigeria news : COVID-19 Lockdown: 29 Lagos-bound commercial motorcyclists arrested in Abuja

The Federal Capital Territory Authority, FCTA,Abuja , COVID-19 Enforcement Team has arrested 29 Lagos-bound commercial motorcyclists travelling in a truck.

The FCTA disclosed this in a tweet on its official Twitter handle on Tuesday.

It said: “COVID-19: FCT arrests 29 Lagos-bound Commercial Motorcyclists travelling in a truck.”

This is coming less than 24 hours after the FCTA confirmed 14 new coronavirus cases in Abuja.

It also disclosed that twelve COVID-19 patients were discharged on Monday.

FCTA made the confirmation while disclosing that the capital city now has a total of 520 confirmed COVID-19 cases.

Meanwhile, Nigeria, as at Monday night had a total of 8,068 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
