The Caretaker Chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC) Enugu State Chapter, Barr. Nwoye warned some party leaders not to underestimate the power of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Enugu State.
Some leaders who joined the party from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are trying to kill it by rejigging it without involving its founding fathers, Nwoye told party faithful gathered at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport in Enugu.

They must not allow invaders to drive the real owners of the party away.
No way are we going to allow the invaders to drive the owners out of their homes. Enugu state secretariat is located at 126 Park Avenue for those who have mistaken the South East secretariat for the Enugu APC secretariat. Avoid being intimidated by older leaders. There is no hope for them. Aged politicians should not take advantage of young people in the party or anywhere in the politcal space.
In the South East secretariat, those that don’t know who the party’s founders are put on a Nollywood show. For the one who called himself chairman, they had a script written for him, but he failed. He couldn’t speak because he wasn’t the party’s leader. As our national representative, I implore my brother to visit his people. They can’t convert or transform People Democratic Party into All Progressive Congress in Enugu state, I told those who left the PDP and joined APC after we accepted them.
