Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, has showered praise on midfielder Casemiro and described him as “the cement”.
Ten Hag claimed the Brazilian provides an “extra edge” to the team.
Casemiro had another impressive outing as United beat West Ham 1-0 on Sunday.
Speaking to Manutd.com, Ten Hag said: “I call him the cement in the midfield.
“In and out of possession, he makes such a difference, and he gives the team [an] extra edge and helps them dominate.
“He can also read the game, and he helps players by pointing them into the right positions.
“One of the highlights of the [West Ham] game was his pass to [Diogo] Dalot in the first half. He’s a top player and I am really happy to have him here.”
