The incident took place when Yolanda reportedly “barged” into Malik’s home while Gigi was away, leading to an argument that turned physical. An insider claimed that Yolanda and Malik had a tense relationship, with constant disagreements and clashes.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Malik was charged with four counts of harassment after the altercation. However, he pleaded no contest and explained on Twitter that he wanted to protect his daughter, Khai. In a statement, Malik said, “In an effort to protect that [safe and private space] for her, I agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner’s who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago.”

Despite Malik’s explanation and plea, Yolanda reportedly has not forgiven him for the alleged incident. A source told Life & Style, “Yolanda has calmed down since the altercation, but she has no time for Zayn and hasn’t forgiven him for the alleged incident.”
