‘Wike says he doesn’t have money to pay scholarship for students abroad but he has money to buy 16 Land-cruisers for Rivers lawmakers’ Deji Adeyanju

Deji Adeyanju who is a staunch member of PDP took to his twitter handle to react to the news of Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike, presenting brand new SUVs to 16 members of the Nigerian Senate and House of Representatives that are from the state. Wike while presenting the cars, said the vehicles are to help the lawmakers carry out their duties effectively.

Deji wondered how the state governor could dole out money to buy these luxury cars when last month he told students from the state that are currently on scholarship in the UK to return home as the state government cannot continue to fund their scholarship programme because of low cash flow.
