The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has declared Rochas Okorocha winner of the Imo West Senatorial election.
INEC declared Okorocha winner after polling a total of 97,762 votes to defeat his closest rival, Jones Onyereri of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who scored 63,117 votes.
The Collation Officer, Professor Ibeawuchi Francis, made the announcement on Monday.
