On the TV screen, Phoebe Dynevor and Rege-Jean Page portray star-crossed lovers on Netflix’s Bridgerton, but it appears that is the extent of the actors’ relationship. Despite finding themselves in the rumor mill of dating, Dynevor insisted her friendship with Page is “strictly professional” when it comes to real life.
“I’d love to say there was really something between us … but no,” Dynevor shared with You Magazine in an article published on Feb. 14, 2021. “There was so much pressure on us to get it right that it was all about the work. We have a really professional working relationship.”
Even though Dynevor adores her handsome costar, she has no qualms about keeping their relationship on a platonic level. “I’m glad for that, actually,” the Younger actress explained. “It would be very complicated if it went further. I always hear about people falling in love with their costars. It’s yet to happen to me, but I’m intrigued.”
It appears Dynevor and Page may be done fighting off romance rumors as the For the People actor flaunted his real-life relationship with his girlfriend, Emily Brown, on Valentine’s Day 2021. Page and the soccer player were spotted embracing each other in a hug, and although the actor has yet to dish any details of his relationship, the Daily Mail reported the two have been together since at least February 2020. It sounds like Page already found his duchess!
