Former Manchester City defender, Micah Richards, has slammed Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, for trying to sign Marko Arnautovic.

United are believed to be chasing the striker who now plays for Bologna in Italy.

But Richards feels Arnautovic is no longer the player he was when he played in the Premier League for West Ham.

“What has happened to Manchester United, seriously? I’m not going to stick the boot in.

“Arnautovic was a quality player, but he’s 33 playing in Italy,” he said.

Ten Hag is also believed to be keen on 19-year-old Benjamin Sesko, who plays for RB Salzburg, as he seeks to bolster his attacking line-up.
