Tia Mowry has introduced her second child to the world!
On Friday, June 29, 2018, the Sister, Sister alum took to Instagram to share the first full-face glimpse of her nearly 8-week-old daughter and reveal her name.
“CAIRO TIAHNA HARDRICT!” the mom-of-two wrote, captioning a clip of an introduction video shared in full on Facebook. “I’m so excited to spend the rest of of my life loving this little one. ❤” While explaining the special meaning behind her baby girl’s name, Mowry said that Cairo “basically means victorious,” while Tiahna “actually means ‘follower of Christ.’ Also, Tiana was one of the first African princesses, so she is our little princess here!”
As Nicki Swift previously reported, Mowry, 39, welcomed baby no. 2 with husband Cory Hardrict, 38, on May 5, 2018. “Feeling grateful and blessed as we welcome our little baby girl into the world!” she wrote on social media at the time, captioning a sweet snapshot of herself holding her newborn daughter in the hospital. “Born May 5th at 10:29 am at 6 pounds and 4 Oz 19.8 inches ? We are in heaven ??.”
The happy couple, who married in April 2008, first announced they were expecting again in November 2017. The proud parents also share 7-year-old son Cree.
In other recent baby news, former WWE star Stacy Keibler became a mom for the second time in mid-June, while Victoria’s Secret model Candice Swanepoel also welcomed baby no. 2 earlier this month. Meanwhile, Chip and Joanna Gaines of Fixer Upper expanded their family by welcoming their fifth child last week, and Desperate Housewives alum Eva Longoria gave birth to her first child with husband José Bastón.
