After performing for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, collaborations with PumaH&M and Alexander Wang, as well as making a red carpet appearance (and social media hit) at the Met Gala with girlfriend Selena Gomez, The Weeknd‘s fashion streak is still going strong. The singer just nabbed his first-ever September cover for Harper’s Bazaar, which hits newsstands on Aug. 22.

Dressed in Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello, The Weeknd, born Abel Tesfaye, stars alongside Adriana Lima and Irina Shayk for the publication’s fall fashion issue. Under the direction of Carine Roitfeld, the 18-page editorial also features a number of big names in modeling and entertainment, including Candice Swanepoel, Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls, Natasha Poly, Courtney Love, Dionne Warwick, Travis Scott and Miranda Lambert.

“From rock to hip-hop, classic to country, and electric to soul, this unique group of Icons is about diversity, that is what I love,” said Carine Roitfeld in an official statement. “Celebrating a universal language of music and fashion is important to the world today.”

During New York Fashion Week, Harper’s Bazaar and Roitfeld will also host its anticipated “Icons” party at the Plaza Hotel on Friday, Sept. 8. [In case you’re curious, partners for the annual event include Infor (for the fourth year in a row), Laura Mercier and Stella Artois (for the second time) and new partners Fujifilm and Swarovski.]

Of course, Tesfaye is slated to perform. “I wanted a musician with an incredible stage presence,” said Roitfeld. “I saw him perform at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and I knew he would electrify people at our Icons party — especially the girls! I knew he was a very nice person and I knew it would be a pleasure to work with him.” No doubt. But will he top Kanye West’s appearance and rant from last year?
