The JGO Agency Is Hiring A TALENT ASSISTANT/ EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT In New York, NY

The JGO Agency combines all facets of brand building- social media, events, collaborations and more to build talent entities and empires. With marketing, branding and development at our core, we strive to elevate our talent’s profile and voice.  

Responsibilities:

  • Assist The JGO Agency’s founder in day to day administrative tasks, from business operations to general personal support as related to The JGO Agency and The JGO Agency Talent
  • Organize needs of agency and assist with scheduling team outings and events
  • Organize shipments and mail, both incoming and outgoing
  • Work with agency’s accountant in compiling expenses, receipt and organization of reports
  • Oversee internship program hiring and organization
  • Order agency supplies, such as snacks, paper towels, furniture and more
  • Oversee busy calendars and schedule meetings
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, including transportation, itineraries, and last minute changes that may occur
  • Monitor all channels of correspondence including email and phones
  • Formulate meeting minutes and determine next steps to take to resolve any issues that are discussed
  • Maintain daily checklists to avoid any possible error in scheduling and otherwise
  • Other administrative duties as necessary
  • General assistance within office space
  • Assisting existing talent manager in various tasks, including scheduling of appointments and communicating with represented talent on professional matters
  • Maintaining fluid communication with clientele when talent manager is absent
  • Learning and developing your own set of skills as a budding talent manager in the social media/entertainment world
  • Assisting in overseeing work product with interns
  • Working directly with brands to see through projects
  • Maintain key contacts and calendars for all talent
  • Outreach to brands on talent behalf
  • Supporting talent needs as assigned by talent manager, including updating or approving social content
  • Updating talent on all happenings, including weekly reporting
  • Work with talent manager on building influencer/brand outreach lists

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant reporting directly to senior management
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software
  • Proficiency in collaboration and delegation of duties
  • Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Friendly and professional demeanor
