Miguel will soon marry his high school sweetheart, model Nazanin Mandi, if recent reports are any indication.
On Monday, Nov. 20, 2018, Miguel (full name Miguel Jontel Pimentel) and Mandi went to a courthouse in Los Angeles and got a marriage license, according to TMZ. Sources told the gossip rag that the couple signed documents in front of friends who were “right there cheering them on with words of encouragement and a big group hug.”
TMZ notes that Miguel, 33, and Mandi, 32, have known each other since they were 18 years old, and they reportedly went on their first date back in 2005. They later got engaged in 2016.
Miguel gushed over Mandi on Sept. 11, 2018, in a sweet social media post for her birthday. “You’re sleeping right next to me and I can’t help but think of how lucky I am that on this day you arrived here. And somehow 18 years later we met,” he wrote. “I mean, you always been fine. S**t you always been beautiful. But every year you become more and more beautiful as a person as a woman as a partner. It’s insane!”
He continued, “All I can do is be amazed and smile.”
Mandi returned the love for his birthday in October. Sharing an old photo of them on Instagram, she wrote, “A very Happy Birthday is in order for the love of my life … my best friend & balance … You are a special light in this world & to truly know your heart and who you are and have grown to be brings tears to my eyes.”
She went on, “I often wonder what I did in my past life to deserve a Man like you… intelligent, giving, loving, PASSIONATE, driven etc. Thank you for never giving up … on your goals … us … but most importantly yourself. I love you w/ everything I have in me … always have. Always will.”
Clearly these two are deeply in love.
