MYGOVNG is an online community where all Nigerians are invited to engage in conversations about their hopes, aspirations and ideas to make Nigeria great. The community will address diverse topical issues, offer their thoughts, views and comments on issues of national interest.
The platform brings an end to the era of taking a back seat in how Nigerians are governed by policies and practices which do not positively impact on or improve their lives. It heralds a new beginning for Nigerians to take charge of their leadership, engage in constructive conversations about how they want to be governed and ensure the Government listens to their collective voices on how to make Nigeria a great country.
The collective will of Nigerians ought to determine the leaderships’ response to governance. The collective opinions should dictate and influence the decisions of Government. MYGOVNG will serve as a filter for Government’s activities, a barometer to measure the impact of Government policies and inform effective decision making.
The platform pools public opinion under one platform and the collective wishes, desires and aspirations of Nigerians will form an actionable portrait of what Nigerians want, which in turn becomes a roadmap for the Government to respond to the collective will of Nigerians.
The platform goes beyond inviting views and comments from Nigerians. The ensuing conversations form a continuous data stream which are subjected to analytics to achieve a national representation of what Nigerians need the Government to do. This in turn is presented to the Government to utilise in making people-oriented governance decisions and ultimately, become a Listening Government – A Government which responds to the needs and wishes of the People.
