Manchester United may be without their key shot stopper David De Gea when they welcome Liverpool to Old Trafford this weekend. The Spaniard suffered an injury in Spain’s Euro 2020 qualifier with Sweden. He was clearing the ball when he appeared to pull his groin, and immediately dropped to the ground in clear pain. De Gea was able to walk off the pitch and was replaced by Chelsea keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, but will be in a race to get fit ahead of the weekend when Manchester United play host to bitter rivals Liverpool in the Premier League. It will come as a huge blow if he’s not fit in time to face a rampaging Liverpool side which has won all its eight games so far. Manchester United by contrast, languish in 12th place having won only two games and lost three including a humiliating defeat at home to Crystal Palace. Rumours have it that coach, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer will be sacked if they lose to Liverpool on Sunday.
