In this video, Entrepreneur Network partner Greg Rollett explains how you can build your online business even if you don’t have money to spend on advertisements. It’s a simple strategy: If you can’t spend cash, spend the only capital you do have — time.

Spend time looking at influencers in your demographic and reach out to them to see if you can contribute on their blogs or websites. Form a list of everyone who can help you grow your network and try to partner with them. Don’t ask for charity, but offer them valuable content their audience will love, and in return reap the exposure that comes with it.

That way, you can grow your own online business and create an email list or audience so that you begin to have revenue coming in. Then, you’ll have a budget to spend on advertising and can sustain yourself from there.
