How Irina Shayk really feels about Lady Gaga

Following Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s seriously steamy Oscars performance, which saw them embracing at the piano and seemingly about to kiss, rumors swirled that the co-stars were secretly more than just friends. However, a source told Us Weekly that Shayk wasn’t upset by Gaga’s chemistry with Cooper. “Irina knows that Bradley and Gaga are artists,” the insider said. “It’s a nonissue for her. They were in character putting on an Oscar performance.”

Let’s remember: Shayk has been dating Cooper since 2015, and he’s routinely thanked Shayk in his acceptance speeches throughout award season, making it clear that she and their daughter are among the most important people in his life. At the 2019 BAFTAs, while accepting an award for A Star Is Born, Cooper had this to say (via Entertainment Tonight): “I also need to thank Irina for putting up with me while I was trying to make music in our basement for a year.” Those long hours in the basement clearly paid off for Cooper, and according to The Sun, Shayk is “actually thrilled at how successful the movie has been and really wanted to go to the Oscars.”
