Manchester United goalkeeper, David de Gea has identified midfielder Marcel Sabitzer as the player to replace the suspended Casemiro in the Red Devils’ squad.
Casemiro was given a straight red card during Man United’s Premier League 2-1 win over Crystal Palace over the weekend.
The Brazilian midfielder is currently facing a three-game ban as a result of the red card.
However, De Gea believes Sabitzer, who joined Man United from Bayern Munich, can fill the void left by Case miro’s absence in the next three matches for Erik ten Hag’s side as Christian Eriksen and Scott McTominay are currently recovering from injury.

According to the Spaniard, Sabitzer is good with the ball.
“It is going to be tough for sure,” De Gea said at his post-match press conference after the game.
“We already lost Christian [Eriksen], now Casemiro: big players for us. But we have a bigger squad, players are ready to play, and everyone is really focused.

“Sabitzer showed already – he played 15 to 20 minutes and he did really well, made some good tackles, he is good with the ball. And everyone is ready to play.”
