A long time ago, the Gods and Goddesses of the realm decided to leave their heavenly homes. They came down to the Lower World of humans and sealed off their divine powers. Turning themselves more or less into normal humans, they began living their lives among other humans for a new experience. Except for one important exception. These Gods still have the ability to pass down their “Blessing” to humans, giving them special powers. They recruit humans to form a team under them called a ‘familia’ and the power they grant them makes the humans capable of fighting monsters in what are known as ‘dungeons’.
