Former Big Brother Naija season 7 contestant, Eloswag, has spoken out following the release of a personal video that surfaced online this past weekend. The video, showing an intimate moment between Eloswag and an unidentified woman, was reportedly shared by the reality star himself on his Snapchat account in the early hours of Sunday, around 3 a.m. He quickly deleted it, but not before it spread across social media.

Despite his swift action, the video found its way into the hands of a well-known gossip blog, which re-posted it, leading to widespread attention. Eloswag took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to express his frustration and consider his options. In a post that he has since deleted, Eloswag questioned how the blogger got hold of the video so quickly and expressed his desire to pursue legal action.

“I mistakenly posted a video on my Snapchat by 3 a.m. and deleted it immediately. Guess who has the video? GISTLOVER? How? Please, can I sue? because it doesn’t make sense,” he wrote, hinting at his intent to hold those responsible accountable.

With this incident, Eloswag joins a growing list of Nigerian celebrities who have had their private lives exposed online. From singers Tiwa Savage and Oxlade to actress Moyo Lawal and social media personality James Brown, numerous public figures have faced similar situations in recent years. These incidents have sparked discussions about privacy and security on social media, as well as the responsibility of bloggers who share sensitive content without permission.

Fans and fellow celebrities have shown mixed reactions. While some sympathize with Eloswag, encouraging him to take legal steps, others have called for greater caution in handling personal content on social media. Privacy breaches like this raise concerns over how easily private moments can become public and highlight the potential need for stricter regulations on sharing explicit content without consent.

Eloswag’s situation underscores the challenges public figures face in the digital age, where one slip can lead to widespread exposure. Whether he will pursue legal action remains to be seen, but his response reflects the frustration of many celebrities over the recurring invasion of privacy.
