From the bride… Though we attended the same college, we didn’t meet until after we graduated and were introduced by mutual friends at a dinner in Georgetown for a friend who was visiting.
Patrick proposed at Weir Pond on Weir Farm Historic Site in Ridgefield, Connecticut, Kelly’s hometown. The park is adjacent to Kelly’s parent’s house and is somewhere she spent a lot of time as she was growing up.
We wanted to do the engagement session in DC since it is where we met and where we live. It was one of the foggiest mornings I can remember in DC, but the fog combined with the monuments and the cherry blossoms (plus Alicia’s extraordinary talent!) made for magical photos.
