From Greg Finck… A wedding is sometimes exposed to natural randomness. Jaecelle and Andrejs learned it the hard way when their wedding venue was canceled just two months before their wedding day. The pouring rains in Big Sur during the winter broke a bridge and made their original venue inaccessible. That’s when Diane, from Big Sur Weddings, played her magic for an amazing Plan B.
Jaecelle and Andrejs, both from California, ended up getting married at Rocky Point, before an al fresco dinner in the Carmel Valley, where we could all enjoy an amazing sunset. Everything at this wedding was so beautiful. The couple designed their invitation suite by themselves, and what a result! And what to say about Jaecelle’s bespoke wedding dress? All of these details were a delight for a photographer’s eyes.
The day ended with an amazing sunset that I leveraged for some portraits in the wild grass before the couple headed to their own dinner table in the middle of their guests. Another beautiful wedding day in North California!
