The 2019 Critics’ Choice Award nominations are in!

On Monday morning, Dec. 10, 2018, the Broadcast Film Critics Association and the Broadcast Television Journalists Association announced this year’s nominees.

As Entertainment Tonight noted, while this award show honors the very best in film and television, its nominees and winners in film tend to point toward those of the upcoming Academy Awards — similarly to the Independent Spirit Awards.

With The Favourite leading the film category with 14 noms, Black Panther followed closely behind with 12. Meanwhile, First Man scored 10 nods and Mary Poppins Returns, A Star Is Born, and Vice tied with nine nominations each. In television, The Americans, The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, and Escape at Dannemora led the pack with five nods each.

Check out the complete list of nominees below (via E! News), and be sure to tune into the event early next year to see if your faves win. The 24th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards will air live on The CW from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif. at 7 p.m. EST on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019.
