Marco Silva says he and the Watford board have a clear understanding of what their targets are in the transfer market.
Watford have signed attacker Richarlison from Fluminense, with the Brazil under-20 international signing a five-year contract.
Richarlison, 20, had been linked with Premier League champions Chelsea, Europa League runners-up Ajax and Brazilian side Palmeiras.
But last week Fluminense said they had agreed a deal with Watford, and reports in Brazil said the Hornets would pay a transfer fee of between £11 million and £13m.
