The face I make when I get my hands on an iced green tea latte…
There are days when I wake up looking like I just climbed out of my crypt after 24 mummified years…
Yesterday was one of those days, so I took Milk Makeup Lip + Cheek in Perk out to play, and put a little on before my Starbucks’ run.
For testing.
I swiped it on bare cheeks, blended out the edges and headed out the door, excited about the prospect of caffeine in my near future. ?
Milk Makeup Lip + Cheek in Perk ($24)
Perk is a glossy coral cream designed to be a multipurpose maven. It’s both a sheer blush and a lip tint.
Unfortunately…it looks patchy on my lips. Also, when I got home after my Starbucks run with my grande iced matcha green tea latte (with coconut milk), it was also gone, baby, gone from my cheeks.
So, I guess you could say that it looked like the literal version of no-makeup makeup? Because I didn’t look like I was wearing any blush on my cheeks at all.
I mean, I don’t usually mind subtle. Actually, I LIVE for subtle makeup. It’s totally my thing, but Perk straight up peace’d the eff out.
Sadly, Perk doesn’t really do it for me. I think there are other, longer-lasting cream blushes out there, like Kjaer Weis Sun Touched (which is freaking makeup gold).
